TAMPA, Fla. - Right-hander Tyler Wilson is facing most of the Yankees' regulars today in his first spring training start.

The Yankees are starting Scott Baker this afternoon after rain interrupted yesterday's game and prevented him from pitching. They listed CC Sabathia as the starter, switched to Bryan Mitchell and switched again to Baker.

Baker is 6-1 with a 2.44 ERA in 10 games (nine starts) against the Orioles.

Travis Snider is making his first appearance for the Orioles since Tuesday in Bradenton. Manager Buck Showalter said he was holding Snider out of the lineup against left-handers.

The travel roster includes minor league infielder Garabez Rosa, 25, who seems to spend more time at the Ed Smith Stadium complex than Twin Lakes Park. He's made numerous trips with the Orioles this spring and is 2-for-4 in six exhibition games.

Rosa batted .282/.299/.415 with 27 doubles, 11 home runs and 69 RBIs in 124 games at Double-A Bowie last summer. He's been in the organization since 2007.

Garabez has played every position in the minors except first base and catcher, and he's never been asked to pitch. Most of his appearances (585) have come at shortstop.

"He's a guy that's really starting to bloom," Showalter said. "I got consistent positive feedback on him all year. He's gotten a lot better. They feel comfortable playing him anywhere, he's swinging the bat.

"We bring him over when you're looking at, 'OK, we need one guy to cover us at every position,' and he does. People are speaking very highly of him. He's kind of put himself on the map, so to speak. He's impressive."
