Ynoa and Nuño join Orioles (updated with Orioles lineup)

The Orioles haven't announced any roster moves, but pitchers Gabriel Ynoa and Vidal Nuño have joined the team. They're sitting at their adjoining lockers at Camden Yards.

Vidal-Nuno-throw-white-sidebar.jpgMike Wright probably is headed to the disabled list with shoulder soreness. Jimmy Yacabonis doesn't have a locker at Camden Yards and most likely has been optioned to Triple-A Norfolk.

The lineup hasn't been posted, so no updates on Seth Smith's back.

According to STATS, the last time that the Orioles had a road trip of at least eight games with one win or fewer was July 1-10, 2011. They went 1-9 versus Atlanta (1-2), Texas (0-3), and Boston (0-4).

The Orioles took two of three games from the Cardinals in 2014 at Camden Yards, winning the first two by a combined score of 22-5. They were swept at home in a three-game series in 2011.

Kevin Gausman has made one previous start against the Cardinals and allowed three runs and eight hits in five innings. Matt Carpenter, the only current player to face him, is 1-for-3.

Carlos Martínez has a 2.95 ERA in 13 starts this season and he's averaging 10.1 strikeouts per nine innings. He's coming off a four-hit shutout of the Phillies, when he walked one batter and struck out 11.

Opponents are batting .194 against him.

Martinez has never faced the Orioles. Welington Castillo is 1-for-9 with four strikeouts against him. Smith and Rubén Tejada are 1-for-2 and Mark Trumbo is 0-for-3.
