Game 151 lineups: Nats at Braves

ATLANTA - They may not have a realistic shot at surpassing the Dodgers for the National League's best record, but the Nationals do still have a realistic shot at something else before the season is over: the best record in franchise history.

The 2012 club, which went 98-64, currently holds that title. The 2017 club currently sits at 91-59. So in order to set the record, the Nats need to go 8-4 the rest of the way. They'd need to go 9-3 to get to 100 wins.

Daniel-Murphy-run-gray-sidebar.jpgThe process continues tonight with the second game of their series against the Braves, and it continues with Daniel Murphy back in the lineup. Murphy was a late scratch yesterday with a tight hamstring, but afterward Dusty Baker said it wasn't anything serious and he expected the second baseman to return tonight. He was indeed correct.

Gio Gonzalez gets the start, one of potentially three more for the left-hander to finish out what may be the best season of his career.
