Game 154 lineups: Nats at Marlins

MIAMI - Hello one last time from Marlins Park, where the Nationals will look to continue their utter dominance of the local ballclub. The Nats are 15-3 vs. the Marlins this season - they actually lost the first two games way back in April! - and carry an 11-game winning streak into today's series finale. I don't care how large the disparity in talent is between teams, that's really hard to do.

The Nationals sure could use one more win this afternoon, though, because with the Brewers doing the exact same thing to the dead-in-the-water Pirates, they simply can't afford to lose any games at this point if they want to stay ahead in the race for home field advantage in the wild card game. There's also, of course, the little matter of actually clinching a spot in the wild card game, which they have not yet done. (The magic number is now five.)

Dozier-RBI-Double-Red-at-DET-Sidebar.jpgAsdrúbal Cabrera is not in today's lineup, which is not a surprise after the veteran second baseman had to come out of Saturday night's game with an ankle injury, suffered when he was thrown out at the plate. We'll hopefully have an update on him shortly. Brian Dozier, who came through with the go-ahead single in the top of the 10th, gets his first start in more than a week.

Austin Voth gets the ball for the Nationals, hoping to continue his strong finish to the season and perhaps position himself for a spot in a potential postseason bullpen. The rookie right-hander will be working with Yan Gomes, who is catching for the 14th time in 15 games since Kurt Suzuki injured his elbow.
