LaRoche's 25th homer gives Nats early 2-0 lead (Nats win 3-2)

Adam LaRoche has his 25th home run of the season and the Nationals have a 2-0 first-inning lead over the Marlins.

Jayson Werth drew a two-out walk off Miami righty Tom Koehler and LaRoche crushed a 3-2 fastball into the upper deck in right field.

Ian Desmond then tripled, but was stranded at third when Bryce Harper skied out to right.

MASN cameras showed Ryan Zimmerman in the Nationals dugout in the first inning, proof that he's arrived from fall instructional league in Viera, Fla., and is getting closer to being activated from the disabled list.

Update: The Marlins cut the lead to 2-1 in the second. Pablo Ozuna tripled off the wall in center and scored on a groundout by Justin Boar.

Update II: The teams traded runs in the fourth. Denard Span's RBI single made it 3-1, but the Marlins got within a run on Boar's first major league home run.

Update III: Doug Fister picks up his career-high 15th win, as Drew Storen closes out a 3-2 victory with a 1-2-3 ninth inning. It's the Nats' 89th win.
