"Fire Davey Martinez. It's because they brought camels to spring training."
"This is just like 2013 and 2015. They're not that good."
"Blow it up! Trade everyone! The season's over!"
I'm so sure.
Can we all relax now? Can we take our fingers off the panic button for the time being? Paul and I certainly are for this "MASN All Access" podcast after the Nationals completed an 8-6 comeback win over the Mets at Citi Field on Monday night.
Just how big was this win? We hear what Martinez and Bryce Harper think this win means for the Nats after last night's game, and then give our thoughts on this potential turning point for the season.
Then we break down how the Nationals were able to pull this off, from Jeremy Hellickson's Nationals debut to the at-bats in the six-run eighth inning to the defensive plays by Pedro Severino and Trea Turner to the relief performances by Brandon Kintzler and Ryan Madson.
And finally, Paul introduces a new game on the podcast: Would You Rather, which includes some funny sitiuations with the catchphrases of MASN's very own Bob Carpenter and F.P. Santangelo.
Let's stay positive, Nats fans!
