MASN announces Nationals spring training broadcast schedule (with note)

It's just a little bit chilly outside (have you heard that temperatures are pretty low today?), but I've got something that might help warm you up. With the start of spring training games now less than two months away, MASN has announced its Nationals spring training broadcast schedule. The network will air six live games, all of which will be played at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Fla., the Nats' spring training home. The slate of games opens with the Nationals hosting a division rival, the Miami Marlins, on Sunday, March 2. MASN will also air games that pit the Nats against the Cardinals, Yankees, Tigers, Astros and Mets. The contest against the Mets will mark the Nats' final home Grapefruit League game before the team departs Florida and gets ready for the 2014 regular season to begin. All afternoon games will be replayed the same day in prime time on MASN HD. Here is the full spring training broadcast schedule: * Sunday, March 2 at 1 p.m., Miami Marlins vs. Nationals (replay at 7 p.m.) * Sunday, March 9 at 1 p.m., St. Louis Cardinals vs. Nationals (replay at 7 p.m.) * Tuesday, March 11 at 1 p.m., New York Yankees vs. Nationals (replay at 7 p.m.) * Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m., Detroit Tigers vs. Nationals (replay at 7 p.m.) * Wednesday, March 19 at 6 p.m., Houston Astros vs. Nationals * Tuesday, March 25 at 1 p.m., New York Mets vs. Nationals (replay at 7 p.m.) The Nationals have yet to announce an official date that pitchers and catchers will report to spring training, but most teams are going with a report date of somewhere around Feb. 12-14. Update: Well how about that timing? The Nats have officially announced that pitchers and catchers will report to spring training on Feb. 13, which is just 37 days away.
