Nationals add Third Day and Sammy Hagar to 2013 NatsLive Free Postgame Concert lineup

The Washington Nationals today announced the addition of Third Day and legendary rocker Sammy Hagar to the 2013 NatsLive Free Postgame Concert Series. These concerts highlight an enhanced promotional schedule that features new giveaways and activities for fans to enjoy throughout the remainder of the season. THIRD DAY: Sunday, July 7 Faith, passion and rock 'n roll swagger combine on Third Day's 12th album, Miracle, a simmering brew of rock anthems infused with the life-affirming lyrics that have been the bedrock of this Christian rock group's music for nearly two decades. Produced by rock legend Brendan O'Brien (who is well known for his work with Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Train and The Killers), Miracle is the latest collection in a long, impressive body of work that has earned Third Day four GRAMMYs, 24 GMA Dove Awards, one RIAA Platinum album and eight RIAA Gold albums. SAMMY HAGAR: Thursday, August 29 For almost 40 years, Sammy Hagar has been one of rock music's most dynamic and prolific artists. From breaking into the industry with the hard rock band Montrose to his multiplatinum solo career to his ride as the front man of Van Halen, the "Red Rocker" has set the tone for some of the greatest rock anthems ever written, with songs like "I Can't Drive 55," "Right Now," and "Why Can't This Be Love." A GRAMMY Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer alongside Van Halen, Hagar is currently on his fourth platinum run with the super group Chickenfoot. The performances will begin approximately 15 minutes after the final out of each Nationals game. Fans who wish to attend the free concerts must have a valid ticket for that day's Nationals game, which can be purchased at nationals.com/NatsLive.
