Nationals Park welcomes country music star Jason Aldean's "2014 Burn It Down" tour on Friday, July 25

Multi-Platinum entertainer Jason Aldean announced today that he will perform at Nationals Park - home of the Washington Nationals - on Friday, July 25, 2014 as part of his "2014 Burn It Down" tour. Red-hot duo Florida Georgia Line and breakthrough artist Tyler Farr are also on the bill. Tickets and parking will go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m., online at nationals.com/jasonaldean or LiveNation.com and by phone at 888.632.6287. Nationals Season Plan Holders will be able to participate in a special presale to purchase tickets from 10 a.m. on February 5 through 10 p.m. on February 6. The show will be held rain or shine and will be promoted by Live Nation. The reigning ACM "Male Vocalist of The Year," Aldean has sold more than 8.5 million albums to date and notched 12 No. one hits at Country Radio. The Macon, Ga., native's current album NIGHT TRAIN claimed a No. one debut on the Billboard all genre Top 200 and earned platinum certification in only four weeks. Nationals Park is one of five MLB ballparks across the country to host Aldean, who is also set to perform at Citizens Bank Park (Philadelphia, Pa.), PNC Park (Pittsburgh, Pa.), Progressive Field (Cleveland, Ohio), and Great American Ball Park (Cincinnati, Ohio). The concert will be the first of three Live Nation summer shows slated for Nationals Park in 2014, with Billy Joel scheduled to return on July 26, while One Direction will perform on August 11. Previous concerts at Nationals Park include sold-out performances by Elton John and Billy Joel in July 2009; Dave Matthews Band featuring Zac Brown Band in July 2010; Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band in September 2012; and Paul McCartney in July 2013.
