The Washington Nationals today recalled right-handed pitcher Blake
Treinen from Syracuse of the Triple-A International League. Nationals President
of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo made the announcement.
Treinen, 26, rejoins the Nationals for the fifth time this season. In
nine Major League games (five starts), Treinen is 1-3 with a 2.29 ERA. In 35.1

MLB win in the nightcap. Treinen held the Cubs to two earned runs over 5.0
innings in the 7-2 victory.
With Syracuse this season, Treinen is 7-1 with a 3.09 ERA and he has
