VIERA, Fla. - The Nationals have posted their pitching schedule through Wednesday's split-squad games, both of which are on the road.
Tanner Roark will get the start for the Nats in their game in Kissimmee against the Astros. He'll be followed by righties Craig Stammen and Tyler Clippard, and left-handers Xavier Cedeno and Jerry Blevins.
In the other half of the Wednesday split-squad (played in Lake Buena Vista against the Braves), Chris Young will get the start, with Danny Rosenbaum, Clay Hensley, Josh Roenicke, Luis Ayala and Aaron Barrett set to work in relief.
Jordan Zimmermann starts against the Yankees tomorrow, with the New Yorkers sending lefty CC Sabathia to the mound.
Not a bad pitching matchup, even for March 11. That game will be aired on MASN, by the way.
Gio Gonzalez gets the start for the Nationals tonight in their first night game at Space Coast Stadium this spring. Zach Walters will get his first start at second base this spring, with Jamey Carroll starting at shortstop.
