Ohlendorf to the DL (Werth in lineup)

The Nationals will look to sweep the Brewers later this afternoon, but they have been hit with the injury bug once again. Right-hander Ross Ohlendorf was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Aug. 1, with right shoulder inflammation. To take his spot on the roster, the Nationals recalled left-handed reliever Xavier Cedeno from Triple-A Syracuse. This will be Cedeno's third stint with the club, having appeared in 1 1/3 innings this season. Prior to going on the DL, Ohlendorf was 2-0 with a 1.85 ERA in 10 games for the Nats. Update: Jayson Werth is in the starting lineup and playing right field for the Nationals. Manager Davey Johnson previously had said that Werth would sit out today's game after he tweaked his groin last night. For the Nationals: CF Denard Span LF Bryce Harper 3B Ryan Zimmerman RF Jayson Werth 1B Adam LaRoche SS Ian Desmond 2B Steve Lombardozzi C Kurt Suzuki RHP Taylor Jordan For the Brewers: RF Logan Schafer SS Jean Segura C Jonathan Lucroy CF Carlos Gomez LF Caleb Gindl 1B Juan Francisco 3B Jeff Bianchi 2B Scooter Gennett RHP Kyle Lohse
