Plenty of offers on upcoming homestand

If it seems like it's been forever since the Nationals have played a home game, well, it has. The Nationals haven't been home since July 10, a span that will reach 25 days when the Marlins come to town Tuesday. In between the homestands, however, there's been plenty of action. Tyler Clippard picked up the win at the All-Star Game before a nine-game road trip has seen the Nationals slip back under .500 at 49-51. Needless to say, it's the perfect time to get back to our nation's capital and get back on track at a postseason run. For you fans out there, it's also the perfect time to get to Nats Park, with plenty of offers to entice you and your wallet. Tuesday night is another $2 ticket night, where fans can purchase a maximum of two tickets for a whopping $2 each while supplies last. You may order those tickets here. Be sure to come back to the park Wednesday night, too, where along with the chance to munch on some $1 hotdogs, fans can visit Conference Room 3 from 5:30-8, where the Nationals, Major League Baseball, the MLBPA and the American Academy of Dermatology will offer free skin cancer screenings. Get yourself checked out, then fill up on hotdogs. Saturday night against the Mets, the first 15,000 fans will receive a limited edition Jayson Werth bobblehead. If you've never gotten one, they're great for your office. I have several staring at me as I type. Then, the following Monday, August 1, the cast of the hit-broadway show Wicked will be on hand to perform the National Anthem. Wicked is currently playing at the Kennedy Center through August 21, 2011. Make sure you get to Nationals Park to take advantage of these giveaways and discounts and watch as the Nationals make their push for the playoffs.
