Ramos returns for finale vs. Brewers

Wilson Ramos has been activated from the 15-day disabled list and will catch rookie Taylor Jordan for today's 11:05 a.m. finale of a four-game series against the Brewers at Nationals Park. Ramos has been out since May 15 with a left hamstring strain, an injury which has twice landed him on the DL this season. Today's lineup sees shortstop Ian Desmond move into the second spot in the order, with right fielder Jayson Werth dropped to the six-hole. The Nationals will don patriotic stars-and-stripes caps and uniforms for the July 4 game and legendary singer Neil Diamond will debut a new song, "Freedom Song (They'll Never Take Us Down)," in the third inning. Stay tuned to MASN for the special holiday performance. Catcher Jhonatan Solano was packing his bags in the clubhouse before the game. He'll head back to Triple-A Syracuse to make room for Ramos on the 25-man roster.
