Sept. 16-18 Social Media Weekend will give Nats fans a chance to win

This season, MASNsports.com has seen tremendous growth, thanks in large part to its ability to interact with fans through social media. With in-game alerts via text message, breaking news broadcast through the @masnNationals Twitter account and the MASN Nationals Facebook page, which has created a daily forum for fans to gather together to discuss and cheer for the Nationals, social media has become our best tool when it comes to delivering the latest information to you, the fans. So, as a thank you to all of the fans and supporters of the Nationals, MASN is happy to announce its inaugural Social Media Weekend, which will run from Sept. 16-18, when the Nationals host the Florida Marlins. Fans will have chances to win unique opportunities around the ballpark and take part in one-of-a-kind fan experiences throughout the three-game series, all through the use of MASN's social media platforms. Contests, including scavenger hunts and fan challenges, will take place at Nationals Park, while lucky fans will be chosen for pregame meet-and-greets with Nationals players. Randomly chosen winners will be awarded behind-the-scenes access to the "Nats Xtra" sets, production truck, and TV broadcast facilities. Autographed memorabilia and seat upgrades will be given away, too. Winners will be selected through interactive Facebook posts at the MASN Nationals page on Facebook, via Twitter mentions (@masnNationals) and during in-stadium contests.
