The Nationals announced this morning that first baseman Ryan Zimmerman, who is on the 15-day disabled list with plantar fasciitis in his left foot, will begin a minor league rehabilitation assignment today with Double-A Harrisburg. The Senators play at nearby Bowie this afternoon before opening a homestand against New Hampshire tomorrow at Metro Bank Park.
