On Sunday, August 22, the 5th annual Brian's Baseball Bash, presented by Bank of America and Bloom & Associates, will be held at Dave and Buster's in Arundel Mills Mall from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. The evening is hosted by Orioles 2B Brian Roberts. Fans will have the chance to interact with Brian, other Orioles players and local sports stars while enjoying a night of games and great food. Once again this year, proceeds from Brian's Baseball Bash will support the University of Maryland Hospital for Children's Pediatric Cardiopulmonary and Child Life Programs.
The event will also include silent and live auctions, which will feature items from many local businesses, University of Maryland football tickets, memorabilia from the Ravens as well as autographed jerseys from Cal Ripken Jr., Eddie Murray, Brooks Robinson, Jim Palmer and many other Major League Baseball superstars.
The University of Maryland Hospital for Children's Cardiopulmonary Program combines state-of-the-art technology with a family-centered, caring environment to treat health conditions like asthma, pulmonary failure, cystic fibrosis and heart abnormalities.
UMHC's Child Life Program provides developmental, psychosocial, and therapeutic support in the healthcare setting to meet the social, emotional, physical and educational needs of children from infancy to age eighteen.
Tickets to the event must be purchased in advance. Tickets are $200 for adults and $150 for children 12 & under. To order tickets, fans should call the UMHC at 410-328-3637.
