Aceves note and Phillies lineup

SARASOTA, Fla. - Alfredo Aceves is scheduled to make his second appearance of the spring today after the Orioles provide innings for Ubaldo Jimenez, Brian Matusz and Miguel Gonzalez. Aceves' debut was delayed because he had to leave camp and obtain his work visa in Mexico. He retired all three batters he faced, with a strikeout. "Basically, every day I'm coming here to work, just trying to get in a rhythm," said Aceves, who signed a minor league deal in January while the Orioles held their mini-camp in Sarasota. "I just get in the rhythm coming here. You know, practice. That's all. "We have a great staff that can build you as a pitcher, and there are programs getting to the season. That's pretty much that." Aceves said it's been an easy transition moving into a new clubhouse and organization after stints in New York and Boston. "Yeah, they watch, they listen, they talk. They're really good people," he said. "I don't know them really well, but just getting involved with them, just day by day, I'm having fun. I'm having fun with them. "I'm still working on (getting to) know them, just new faces. For me, I'm starting to have (relationships) with them. It's good stuff. It's good stuff besides baseball, you know? Besides baseball. Because baseball, you know, it's baseball." Aceves is preparing for any role with the Orioles. He'd prefer to start, but he could be used in long relief or as a set-up man, and he brings experience as a closer. The Phillies are bringing a lot of familiar names to Sarasota. Major League Baseball won't have any issues with their lineup. For the Phillies Ben Revere CF Jimmy Rollins SS Domonic Brown LF Ryan Howard 1B Marlon Byrd RF Bobby Abreu DH Kevin Frandsen 2B Cody Asche 3B Cameron Rupp C A.J. Burnett RHP
