Andino leading off, Betemit at first; Britton and Reimold updates

Robert Andino is leading off tonight against Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia. Wilson Betemit will play first base, Steve Tolleson will play third, and Xavier Avery will stay in left field and bat ninth. For the Orioles: Robert Andino 2B J.J. Hardy SS Nick Markakis RF Adam Jones CF Matt Wieters C Wilson Betemit 1B Bill Hall DH Steve Tolleson 3B Xavier Avery LF Wei-Yin Chen LHP Zach Britton threw four scoreless innings today at extended spring training, allowing two hits and striking out four. He threw 47 pitches in the game, 20 more in the bullpen and said his arm felt great. Britton will start again on Sunday or Monday. Games aren't played on Sundays, so the Orioles would have to create one to keep him on normal rest. Nolan Reimold will be re-examined within a week. He's got tingling in his left thumb and forearm, and soreness in his left shoulder and upper arm. It's too soon for Reimold to receive a second epidural. The Orioles are hoping that his condition improves soon and he won't need one. Reliever Matt Lindstrom has a strained ligament in his right middle finger. He'll join Britton, Endy Chavez and Mark Reynolds at extended spring training. Rule 5 pick Ryan Flaherty is on Twitter: @RFlaherty3. Down on the farm, Triple-A Norfolk infielder Ryan Adams was placed on the minor league disabled list with a broken right thumb, and pitcher Joel Pineiro went on the DL with sore right shoulder. Pitcher Eddie Gamboa and infielders Buck Britton and Carlos Rojas moved up from Double-A Bowie to Norfolk.
