Andino starting at third base, Thome receives epidural (Roberts update)

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Orioles haven't announced any roster moves today. Nate McLouth isn't here, and I'm told the club won't find out today whether he exercised the opt-out clause in his contract. Lew Ford is starting in left field. Robert Andino has returned to the lineup. He's starting at third base against Rays left-hander Matt Moore. The Orioles did make one deal yesterday that flew under the radar. They sent Triple-A reliever Pat Neshek to the Athletics. I don't have any other details, but it might have been a cash transaction. Designated hitter Jim Thome received an epidural injection in his neck today in California to alleviate the discomfort caused by a herniated disc. The Orioles have a locker set up for pitcher Tsuyoshi Wada, who wants to watch a game in the dugout. He'll need a uniform to do it. Wada will wear No. 18. Don't pretend like you weren't curious. Also, Showalter confirmed that Zach Britton will make another start, with Jake Arrieta remaining at Triple-A Norfolk. The Athletics have added Neshek to their 25-man roster.
