Andrew Stevenson gets a hit in Triple-A debut

Center fielder Andrew Stevenson made his Triple-A debut Tuesday night in Syracuse's 3-1 loss to Pawtucket. The lefty hitter went 1-for-4. Stevenson was called up Tuesday and Isaac Ballou assigned to Double-A Harrisburg from extended spring training.

Syracuse needed a center fielder after Rafael Bautista was called up to the Nationals to replace the injured Adam Eaton.

Starter Austin Voth (1-3) went seven innings, allowing three runs on eight hits, including a solo homer. He gave up just one walk and struck out seven.

Victor-Robles-swinging-white-P-Nats-sidebar.jpg* High Single-A Potomac dropped Down East 4-2. Center fielder Victor Robles went 1-for-3 with a run scored and two strikeouts. Robles was hit by a pitch. He is hitting .316. It is his second straight game in lineup after returning from the disabled list. He had been out with hamstring tightness.

Designated hitter Telmito Agustin hit his first home run of the season. Kyle Schepel pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings of relief to notch the win. Hector Silvestre allowed only one earned run in 6 1/3 innings.

* Zach Collier and Drew Ward hit two-run shots in Harrisburg's 9-6 loss to Trenton. The Senators bullpen was unable to hold a 6-5 lead. Braulio Lara allowed one run and Ryan Brinley gave up three runs to take the loss.

Erick Fedde had his toughest outing Monday, giving up six runs in a 7-0 loss at Trenton. He lasted 3 2/3 innings, allowing eight hits, walking three and striking out two. He has suffered three losses in a row, but his ERA is still 3.45.

* Carter Kieboom, Nick Banks and Juan Soto each had a double and an RBI in low Single-A Hagerstown's 4-3 loss at home to Rome. Soto is batting .360, Kieboom .329 and Banks .277.
