ORIOLES QUICK WRAP Score: Orioles 3, Yankees 2 Recap: Wei-Yin Chen allowed two runs and five hits in the second inning, including a solo homer by Francisco Cervelli, but four of the hits were soft singles. The Orioles took the lead in the bottom of the seventh on RBIs by Quintin Berry and Julio Borbon. Need to know: David Lough is a candidate to lead off, and he collected a single and triple in his first two at-bats while starting off an inning. He scored the Orioles' first run and is now 4-for-7 this spring. On deck: Wednesday, at Twins in Fort Myers, 7:05 p.m. TAMPA - The Orioles' bullpen is shutting down the Yankees tonight. Josh Stinson tossed two scoreless innings, walking two batters and striking out one. Evan Meek retired all three batters he faced, and Brad Brach had a walk and two strikeouts in the sixth. Ryan Webb will work the bottom of the seventh with the Orioles leading 3-2. The Orioles produced the tying run in the top of the seventh on Quintin Berry's RBI single up the middle that scored Ryan Flaherty, who led off with his second hit of the night. Jonathan Schoop struck out with the bases loaded and no outs, but Francisco Peguero scored the go-ahead run on Julio Borbon's ground out. Peguero was hit by a Chase Whitley pitch. Updated: Webb tossed a scoreless seventh, allowing the only hit from the bullpen tonight. He struck out one. Kelvin De La Cruz is working the eighth. Update II: Cruz allowed a hit and struck out one. The bullpen still hasn't surrendered a run. Wei-Yin Chen made his first start since undergoing surgery in October to remove bone spurs in his right knee. "It does feel somewhat different, but I don't know how to describe different how," Chen said through his interpreter. "Compared to last year, I do feel a little more comfortable when I was pitching, so I was happy about the result and tried to make my pitches and not to think about that. I just feel comfortable right now." Chen allowed two runs and five hits in the second inning. He gave up an infield hit and three bouncers that found space in the infield. "It's still early in the spring, so I tried to make some adjustments," he said. "Sometimes pitches weren't ideal location-wise, but I made adjustments and overall I feel pretty good. And it's still spring training, so I don't mind it. "It's been a while since I've played in a game, especially in a night game, so I tried to make some adjustments. And I feel pretty good overall."
