FanFest set for Jan. 29 at Convention Center

The Orioles have released details for their annual FanFest on Jan 29 at the Baltimore Convention Center. The event will be held from 11 a.m.-6 p.m., with early entry for Orioles season plan holders to begin at 10 a.m. In addition to FanFest activities, individual game tickets for the 2011 season will go on sale at 10 a.m. on the same date. Fans may purchase tickets throughout the day at the Convention Center or the Orioles' box office at the north end of the warehouse. Tickets also will be available by calling 1-888-848-BIRD, going online at www.orioles.com or visiting the official team store at the York Galleria in York, Pa. The Orioles will introduce a new autograph policy designed to shorten wait times and support youth charitable endeavors through OriolesREACH. Children ages 4 to 14 will have a specially designated Kids Only player autograph station presented that is free of charge and will operate continuously throughout the day. All other autograph stations will require the advance purchase of autograph vouchers. The vouchers will be available at www.orioles.com for $15 each, with all proceeds to benefit children's charities through OriolesREACH. Vouchers will go on sale next Saturday, Jan. 15, at 10 a.m. There will be 250 vouchers available for each autograph session, guaranteeing each fan who purchases a voucher for a particular session an autograph from each of the three to four players at the station. More information on this new policy, including a list of players signing at each paid autograph session, will be released next week. This information will also be posted at the team Web site, www.orioles.com. Tickets for FanFest will go on sale this Saturday, Jan, 8 at 10 a.m. They are available online at www.orioles.com, via phone at 1-888-848-BIRD and at the official team store at the York Galleria in York, Pa. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 14 and under and those over 55. On the day of the event, tickets will be sold at the Convention Center and the Orioles box office. Also, 2011 season-plan holders will receive complimentary tickets as part of their Orange Carpet Benefits program. Complimentary parking for FanFest is available in Lot B/C. Get all that?
