Final thoughts on 14-8 loss

"The last two outings, it hasn't come out of his hand the way it needs to," Showalter said. "He's better than that. We'll see." Brian Roberts did some light baseball activities today. He's focusing more on cardio than weight work. "We kind of mapped out a potential schedule if everything proceeds as normal and we don't have any setbacks," Showalter said. "We're together on how it's going to work if he doesn't have any physical setbacks." Don't bother asking when Roberts will get into a game. "I'm not going to throw that out there," Showalter said. "I know in a perfect world, the way we've got it mapped out, we're going to take it day by day. But so far, so good. Got through a hurdle today and yesterday with the medical part of it. We're upbeat about that." Craig Tatum tweaked a muscle on his right side a few days ago and will likely be shut down a few more days.
