Game 43 lineups: Nats at Braves

ATLANTA - Today's series finale at SunTrust Park marks the last game of the road trip. The Nationals look to salvage a game in this series and get the offense on track again. They have been able to piece together one rally the last couple of games but would prefer to have several shots at scoring. The Braves bullpen has done a nice job of keeping the late innings quiet.

Even with the two losses this weekend, the Nationals have won 18 of their last 24 matchups with the Braves and lead the season series 3-2. Atlanta comes to D.C. for the first time this season June 12-14. The Nats have not been swept this season.

Right-hander Stephen Strasburg looks to be the streak-buster again. He arrives at 4-1 with a 3.42 ERA. The Braves counter with left-hander Jaime Garcia (1-1, 4.65 ERA).

Left fielder Jayson Werth has reached base safely in 12 straight games. Catcher Matt Wieters has a nine-game hitting streak. Wieters' batting average of .283 ranks fourth in the major leagues for catchers.

The Braves are starting newly acquired first baseman Matt Adams, who was traded by the St. Louis Cardinals to the Braves Saturday for a prospect.

The Nationals will rest Anthony Rendon and Matt Wieters. They are on a scheduled day off. Wilmer Difo will be at third base and Jose Lobaton will catch.
