CINCINNATI - Right-hander Stephen Strasburg looks to get the Nationals on the board in their series at Great American Ball Park against the Reds in his 12th start of the season.
And if he can win today, he will be the first 10-game winner in the majors this season.
Strasburg has already reached a 9-0 start, the best in his career. He is the first Nats pitcher to with 12 straight decisions, with the club winning his last 15 straight starts.
He suffered neck tightness last year in his start here, notching only three outs. He went on the disabled list soon after. He has a 5.68 ERA in four starts against the Reds.
Marshall Thundering Herd right-hander Dan Straily goes to the bump for Cincinnati. He is 3-2 with a 3.43 ERA. The Reds have not won four straight games yet this season. They swept the Nats last season at home.
Clint Robinson will start at first base and Daniel Murphy will return to start at second base.
