In minor league updates, Rendon and Meyer deliver, Wang does not

Anthony Rendon made his first start for high Single-A Potomac since early April, going 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs in the Nationals' 5-1 victory at Myrtle Beach.
Right-hander Alex Meyer was meticulous in his execution again on the mound, improving to 2-0. The Kentucky star went six innings, allowing just two hits, with five strikeouts, one walk and one run surrendered on a groundout.
The news not as comfortable for right-hander Chien-Ming Wang in his fifth rehab start for Double-A Harrisburg. Wang went just 4 2/3 frames in notching the loss (1-3) for the Senators versus Richmond, as the team fell 7-2.
Wang allowed seven hits, seven runs, six of them earned, and two walks. He did strike out four and induce 10 groundouts, but the Flying Squirrels managed a pair of doubles and a pair of triples.
Wang has allowed 23 hits, 14 runs, 13 earned runs and three walks and has struck out eight in his last three starts, two of them losses, a span of 17 1/3 innings.
