Brian Matusz could not follow up his winning Major League debut at Detroit with another strong outing.
Matusz got rocked for three homers today as his outing lasted just 2 2/3 innings as Toronto beat the Birds, 7-3, to win the series, two games to one.
Kevin Millar hit a solo homer in the second while Vernon Wells and Marco Scutaro hit two-run shots in the third off the 22-year-old left hander.
Matusz allowed five runs and seven hits in 2 2/3 innings to fall to 1-1 on the year.

Winning pitcher Roy Halladay allowed nine hits and two earned runs over eight innings to improve to 12-5, 2.73. He is now 20-4, 2.89 in his career vs. the Orioles.
The O's scored on a Luke Scott single in the second, a Cesar Izturis RBI double in the third and Melvin Mora's run-scoring single in the sixth.
Toronto, now 31-26 at home, added two insurance runs off Matt Albers in the seventh. Well finished with 3 RBI while Millar had three hits and a walk and Scutaro had four hits.
The O's, who host Oakland Monday night, ended their road trip at 2-5. The Orioles are 6-6 vs. the Blue Jays and 6-17 in the second half.
