Left field hurts and helps Orioles (Andino, Reimold and Hardy homer)

Nolan Reimold misplayed a ball in left field today because of the bright sun at Fenway Park. The Red Sox couldn't take advantage and stranded four runners in two innings. Darnell McDonald, who joined the Rex Sox's lineup late after Carl Crawford was scratched, misplayed two straight fly balls in the top of the third, as the Orioles took a 2-0 lead on Matt Angle's two-run double. Both starters need to concentrate on ground balls. McDonald,a former first-round pick by the Orioles, led off the bottom of the third with a home run to left. Reimold saw it all the way. He just couldn't do anything about it. Orioles 2, Red Sox 1. Jeremy Guthrie got a big double play to end the third. That's two turned by the Orioles today. Why do I have a feeling that two runs won't be enough? Update: Thanks for listening, guys. Robert Andino and Reimold go back-to-back in the fourth. Reimold has three homers in five games. Orioles 5, Red Sox 1 Update II: Jarrod Saltalamacchia's triple scored David Ortiz in the bottom of the fourth, but J.J. Hardy led off the top of the fifth with his 28th home run. Orioles 6, Red Sox 2 That's three home runs off Boston starter Kyle Weiland. The Red Sox's starting pitching continues to drag them down - and threaten their spot atop the wild card standings.
