SARASOTA, Fla. - The Mid-Atlantic Sports Network is sticking with its usual form in airing seven Orioles exhibition games from Ed Smith Stadium.
The logical place to start?
The first game at home, to be played Feb. 23 against the Red Sox. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m.
The network's spring coverage includes six more games in Sarasota.
The Orioles face the Braves on Feb. 26 at 1 p.m., the Rays on March 2 at 1 p.m., the Yankees on March 8 at 1 p.m., the Blue Jays on March 13 at 1 p.m., the Red Sox on March 20 at 6 p.m. and the Phillies on March 22 at 1 p.m.
Each game airs live on MASN and will be rebroadcast later.
Pitchers and catchers reported yesterday to the complex and position players are due on Sunday. The first full-squad workout is held the following day.
The first Grapefruit League game is Feb. 22 against the Braves at their new facility in North Port. The Orioles break camp after their March 23 game against the Mets in Sarasota.
Opening day is March 26 against the Yankees at Camden Yards.
