Nats score 12 runs after fifth inning, stun Giants 14-6

Nationals right-hander Stephen Strasburg allowed another first inning run and it came from the lead off man.
Center fielder Gregor Blanco launched a 3-2 95 mph fastball over the right field wall and the Giants led 1-0. It was Blanco's second career leadoff home run after hitting one at Turner Field against the Braves last season. It was also the third leadoff home run by a Giants player this season. Angel Pagan accomplishing the feat the other two times.
It is the second game in a row the Giants scored early. They led 2-0 after a half inning Saturday. The Nationals came back to win that game 6-2.
Giants starter Ryan Vogelsong walked two batters in the last of the first, but got out of the jam on an Ian Desmond liner to left field.
After one, Giants lead 1-0.
Update: Travis Ishikawa crushed a solo homer to left-center field, his second homer of the season, on a 1-2 pitch from Strasbug, to extend the Giants' lead to 2-0.
On his strikeout of Vogelsong, Strasburg reached 200 strikeouts for the season, a new career-high. He has 704 strikeouts for his career.
Update II: This is not going well for Strasburg. The Giants are hitting his fastball and attacking his breaking stuff. In the the third, they racked up four more hits and three more runs, highlighted by a Michael Morse run-scoring double. The Giants lead 5-0 heading to the bottom of the third. Strasburg already has thrown 62 pitches.
Update III: The Nationals offered a counter punch in the fourth with three doubles off of Vogelsong from Jayson Werth, Adam LaRoche and Asdrubal Cabrera. The Nats trimmed the Giants' lead to 5-2.
Strasburg is done after four innings. He allowed eight hits, five earned runs, walked two and struck out four. He threw 79 pitches, 49 for strikes, allowing two home runs and one wild pitch. Craig Stammen on to pitch the fifth.

Update V: It's not the Giants day any more. The Nationals tied a franchise record with six runs in an eight-hit sixth inning, and now lead 8-6. It's the third time in club history they've had eight hits in one inning. The most recent was July 7, 2011, against the Cubs.
