Not working for Bergy
This did not add up to a winning combination for the Orioles.

Evan Longoria has already homered and doubled. He is 12 for 35 vs. the O's this year with three homers and 11 RBI.
In winning last night, the O's became the first team this year to trail in the ninth inning and in extra innings, but comeback and win. In the last 25 years, the O's have only one other home game when they trailed in the ninth and in extras, but won and that was on August 26, 1996 vs. Oakland.
The O's are just 1-7 this year in games that decide a series, they are 2-6 vs. Tampa and they are 4-25 vs. AL East teams other than Boston.
Cesar Izturis, who is 9 for 15 over his last four games, is now just 10 hits shy of 1,000 for his career. He has 786 hits in the NL and 204 in the American League. He just flied out in the last of the third.
