One final Chris Davis take and one final video from Nashville

NASHVILLE - Before we head to the airport, a few final words on Chris Davis.

I think the Orioles' offer is big and legit, and they clearly made it known they want Davis back. As we all know by now, they can't - and seemingly won't - wait on him much longer. It's go time for the 2016 roster.

Dan Duquette is more aware of this than anyone. He's got irons in the fire in several places and appears ready to move on from Davis at any minute. He may have already done that for all we know.

Someone that has dealt with Boras in past negotiations - who is not connected with the Orioles - told me the frustration is often that Boras will not tell the teams what dollar figure will get a deal done. So some clubs get nervous and keep upping offers.

Is there a mystery team out there for Davis? Where are all his suitors? Wouldn't Boras be leaking that left and right by this point? We've heard rumors from national reporters of Davis' demands, but is anyone out there to fulfill them?

The Orioles have Davis atop their shopping list. Maybe "had" is the right word. They can't wait much longer. So as we head out of Nashville, thanks for reading the last few days and we'll see some of you at FanFest on Saturday.

Roch Kubatko and I recorded one final video wrapup from the Winter Meetings. Here it is:
