Nolan Reimold has returned to the Orioles' lineup tonight after being bothered yesterday by neck spasms. Mark Reynolds is serving as the designated hitter.
For the Orioles:
Nolan Reimold LF
J.J. Hardy SS
Nick Markakis RF
Adam Jones CF
Matt Wieters C
Wilson Betemit 3B
Mark Reynolds DH
Chris Davis 1B
Robert Andino 2B
Brian Matusz LHP
A series win in Anaheim would mark the first time that the Orioles have won each series of a three-city road trip since Aug. 7-16, 1998 at Minnesota, Tampa Bay and Cleveland.
The Orioles already have won two series on the same road trip for the first time since Sept. 6-12, 2010 at New York and Detroit.
Matusz will attempt to snap a career-high 11-game losing streak tonight. It's the longest active losing streak in the majors and is tied for the second-longest losing streak by a starter in Orioles history behind Mike Boddicker's 13 straight losses (Sept. 9, 1987-May 14, 1988). David Hernandez also lost 11 in a row from August 17, 2009-May 11, 2010.
Yesterday marked the Orioles' first errorless game of the road trip. It also snapped a nine-game streak of committing at least one error.
The Orioles are 3-0 when they don't commit an error. They're also 7-2 when scoring first and 8-3 when hitting at least one home run.
For the Angels:
Erick Aybar SS
Howard Kendrick 2B
Albert Pujols 1B
Torii Hunter RF
Mark Trumbo LF
Vernon Wells CF
Kendrys Morales DH
Chris Iannetta C
Alberto Callaspo 3B
Jerome Williams RHP
