Orioles and Keys cranking out the runs (O's win 8-3)

The Orioles drove Angels starter Dan Haren from the game with two on and no outs in the sixth inning. Tyler Chatwood's wild pitch enabled Chris Davis to score, and Nolan Reimold followed with a two-run homer to complete Haren's line and increase the Orioles' lead to 8-0. Haren is charged with seven runs (six earned) and seven hits, with two walks, four strikeouts and a wild pitch. Before tonight, he had allowed three runs or fewer in five of his last six starts and eight of 10. Reimold also homered Wednesday night. He's gone deep 11 times this season. Meanwhile, Single-A Frederick scored 11 runs in the third inning at Kinston, the last three coming on a Manny Machado home run. The Keys can clinch the Carolina League championship with a victory tonight. I like their chances. Update: Tommy Hunter threw seven scoreless innings tonight, allowing seven hits, walking two and striking out five. He threw 109 pitches, 75 for strikes. Tonight's attendance: 24,022 Update II: Hank Conger hit a two-run homer off Kevin Gregg on an 0-2 pitch with one out in the top of the ninth, and Alexi Amarista doubled with two outs to deliver another run and complete the scoring in the Orioles' 8-3 victory. Gregg was struggling against the Angels' reserves, and he didn't do much to increase his popularity with fans, who booed him again. He threw 43 pitches in the inning while allowing two earned runs. Clay Rapada began to warm in the bullpen after Robert Andino's error with one out. Pitching coach Rick Adair visited the mound after Amarista's double - a ball that skipped past Reimold in right field as he attempted a sliding catch. Reimold moved over from left as part of manager Buck Showalter's substitutions.
