Markakis has hit in a team season-high 15 straight games, going 27-for-69 (.391) with four doubles, two homers, nine RBIs and seven runs scored. It's the third-longest hitting streak of his career, behind a pair of 17-game streaks (most recently April 13-May 1, 2009). Jones has at least one RBI in seven straight games. Reynolds has drawn 15 walks in his last 16 games. The Orioles are 5-for-37 with runners in scoring position in their last four games. Single-A Frederick first baseman Tyler Townsend is being activated today from the seven-day disabled list. Townsend was sidelined with a hamstring injury.
