The Orioles today announced that they will open the 2018 season at Oriole Park against the Minnesota Twins as part of a three-game homestand beginning with Opening Day on Thursday, March 29. The Orioles will again host each American League East divisional opponent for three series throughout the season. The Toronto Blue Jays will play a total of nine games in Baltimore, April 9-11, August 27-29, and September 17-19. The Tampa Bay Rays will visit Camden Yards for 10 games, April 24-26, May 11-13, and July 26-29. The Orioles will also host the Yankees, May 31-June 3, July 9-11, and August 24-26. Baltimore will host the rest of the AL once: Cleveland Indians (April 20-23), Detroit Tigers (April 27-29), Kansas City Royals (May 8-10), Seattle Mariners (June 25-28), Los Angeles Angels (June 29-July 1), Texas Rangers (July 13-15), Oakland Athletics (September 11-13), Chicago White Sox (September 14-16), and Houston Astros (September 27-30).

The Orioles home schedule will also consist of four games played on national holidays including Easter (April 1 vs. Minnesota), Mother's Day (May 13 vs. Tampa Bay), Memorial Day (May 28 vs. Washington), and Father's Day (June 17 vs. Miami).

The Orioles will play 15 home games in June, their busiest month at Oriole Park. Overall, the Birds will play 50 of their 98 games prior to the All-Star break (July 16-19) at home. The Orioles have just one 10-game homestand: April 20-29 (Cleveland, Tampa Bay, and Detroit); one nine-game homestand: September 11-19 (Oakland, Chicago-AL, and Toronto); and one eight-game homestand: May 8-16 (Kansas City, Tampa Bay, and Philadelphia).

The Orioles will play 15 of the final 28 games of the season on the road. Baltimore will also travel for a 10-game road trip: May 18-27 (at Boston, Chicago-AL, and Tampa Bay), and two nine-game road trips: July 31-August 9 (at New York-AL, Texas, and Tampa Bay) and August 31-September 9 (at Kansas City, Seattle, and Tampa Bay).
