Repeating what I wrote this morning, the Orioles again will employ an autograph policy designed to support youth charitable endeavors through OriolesREACH and enhance fan engagement with shorter wait times. Children ages 4-14 will have a specially-designated kids-only player autograph station that is free of charge, which will operate continuously throughout the day. All other autograph stations at FanFest will require the advance purchase of autograph vouchers for $20 each via orioles.com/fanfest, with all of the proceeds benefiting children's charities through OriolesREACH. Since instituting the autograph policy in 2011, FanFest has raised more than $700,000 for the Orioles Charitable Foundation.
There will be 250 vouchers available for each autograph session, guaranteeing that every fan purchasing a voucher for a particular session will receive an autograph from each of the players at the station. Fans will be able to print their vouchers at home and must present them to the attendant at the appropriate autograph session, shortening the amount of wait time in autograph lines. Fans must be in line for their autograph session no later than 30 minutes after the session begins. Autograph vouchers are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
If vouchers are still available on the day of the event, they will be available for purchase at the ticket sales location at FanFest. Autograph seekers are encouraged to purchase vouchers in advance. There is a purchase limit of two autograph vouchers per person per session time. Fans redeeming autograph vouchers must be at least 4 years old and may only redeem one voucher per person per session time.
MASN is giving fans opportunities to win exclusive prizes and meet Orioles players and on-air talent at its booth throughout FanFest, which runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. (10 a.m. for season ticket holders).
Fans will be able to participate in "Social Snapshots" photo ops with Jones, Davis, Britton, Flaherty, Bordick, Palmer and MASN broadcaster Jim Hunter. Appearances are subject to change.
Fans will be able to have their photo printed on-site for free, with a digital copy also sent via text for sharing on social media.
Also, anyone stopping by the MASN booth may participate in various games and giveaway opportunities. At MASN's exclusive claw machine game, fans can try to win suite tickets, autographed gear, Orioles souvenirs and more.
No one will leave the MASN booth empty-handed. Fans can also enter to win signed jerseys, bats and baseballs from Showalter, Jones, Davis, Britton and O'Day. Other prizes include new #IBackTheBirds knit winter hats, MASN Orioles keychains, car stickers, iWallets and koozies.
MASN is again working with the Orioles to host the Kids Press Conferences, where young fans can ask their favorite players questions.
Fans attending FanFest should follow @masnOrioles on Twitter and RSVP to the MASN Orioles Facebook event for more prize previews and the Social Snapshots schedule release.
