Orioles extend working agreement with Single-A Delmarva through 2018

The Orioles today announced they have extended their working agreement with Class-A Delmarva, signing a two-year extension through the 2018 season. Arthur W. Perdue Stadium, home of the Delmarva Shorebirds, underwent renovations prior to the 2015 season which included remodeled clubhouses, training facilities, and batting cages. In 2016, the ballpark will feature a new playing surface as well as improved stadium lighting. The Shorebirds are also finalizing plans for several fan-centered enhancements scheduled to be completed in advance of the 2017 season which will include a new videoboard, renovated seating, and a 360-degree concourse, among other improvements. "We look forward to continuing our relationship with Delmarva through this extension and are very pleased with the arrangement we have had thus far," said Orioles Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations Dan Duquette. "These investments will continue to help us build a championship club and expand the development of our players."
