Alex Burnett isn't the only new arrival in the clubhouse. The Orioles have also recalled infielder Yamaico Navarro, adding a bench player to their 25-man roster. Burnett replaces Wei-Yin Chen, who went on the disabled list, while Navarro takes the place of reliever Mike Belfiore, who was sent back to Triple-A Norfolk yesterday.

As expected, Freddy Garcia is starting Wednesday against the Padres, which is his normal turn. He's facing the team that released him in spring training.
Jason Hammel will start Friday against the Tampa Bay Rays at Camden Yards.
Jair Jurrjens is the obvious choice for Saturday, since Steve Johnson can't be recalled unless he's replacing an injured player, and FOXSports.com confirmed that the right-hander will join the Orioles this weekend.
Jurrjens will be the 10th starter used by the Orioles. He had a June 15 opt-out clause in his contract.
