Orioles and Rays postponed

Today's game between the Orioles and Rays has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The teams will play a split-admission doubleheader on July 13, with the first game starting at 1:05 p.m. The nightcap will begin at 7:05 p.m.

The July 13 game is part of a weekend series at Camden Yards. The Rays also come back to Baltimore for four games in August.

Both games of the doubleheader will air on MASN and the Orioles Radio Network, including 105.7 The Fan.

Separate admission is required for each game. Tickets and prepaid parking passes for today will be honored for the 1:05 p.m. game and do not need to be exchanged. All fans, including those with Youth Baseball and Softball Day tickets, are encouraged to attend the make-up game.

Fans unable to attend the make-up game can exchange today's tickets for any remaining home game this season on a "dollar-for-dollar" basis. All exchanges are subject to availability and must be completed before July 13. Complimentary tickets are non-exchangeable.

Fans who purchased tickets via StubHub will need to contact StubHub directly regarding their policy for postponed events.

The decision to postpone today's game came after an earlier announcement that the start would be delayed, and after an on-field meeting that included manager Brandon Hyde, pitching coach Doug Brocail, head groundskeeper Nicole Sherry, vice president of marketing and communications Greg Bader, crew chief Mike Everitt and a member of the ballpark operations staff.

Left-hander John Means has been pushed back to Monday night's series opener against the Red Sox at Camden Yards. David Hess will pitch Tuesday and Andrew Cashner Wednesday.

Dan Straily is bumped from the Red Sox series. The Orioles are off Thursday, and he could start Friday night against the Angels if he stays in turn.

The Red Sox haven't revealed their starters. The decision on Monday reportedly comes down to Hector Velázquez or Josh Smith.

The Orioles and Rays split the two games played in this series.
