SARASOTA, Fla. - Reliever Jason Berken said he left hamstring feels "a lot better" after receiving more treatment today and running on the water treadmill.
Berken said he might play catch Wednesday, depending how his leg feels when he wakes up.
"Every day it's getting better. Hopefully, it will be more of the same tomorrow," he said.
"This is the fifth day rehabbing it and every day it's significantly better."
Meanwhile, Zach Britton threw off flat ground again today. He'll take tomorrow off and throw off a half mound on Thursday. Assuming that his left shoulder feels good, he'll throw his first bullpen session on Friday.
I haven't seen Tsuyoshi Wada today, but manager Buck Showalter will provide an update.
