It happened only once in the previous 54. The Giants have won five straight at home. The Orioles have lost nine straight on the road. Neither team is great with runners in scoring position. The Giants are batting .245 (25th in the majors). The Orioles are hitting .206 (30th). The Orioles have hit six home runs in June: Jones - 2 Moore - 1 Patterson - 1 Scott - 1 Wieters - 1 Adam Jones is the Oriole with more than four RBIs this month. He has eight. Ty Wigginton has hit 12 of his 13 homers off right-handers. Jones has hit six of his seven homers on the road. The 1988 team averaged 3.416 runs a game and gave up 4.90 runs a game. The 2010 Orioles average 3.23 runs a game and give up 5.328 runs a game. Norfolk update: Alberto Castillo allowed five runs and five hits, walked a batter, committed a balk and hit a batter in one-third of an inning in Triple-A Norfolk's 11-0 loss to Columbus. He replaced Cla Meredith, who was charged with two runs and three hits in one inning. Meredith also walked a batter and finished the day with a 17.18 ERA.
