Throwback Thursday: The opening act

It's officially the offseason for all of Major League Baseball, which means we have to wait until April 6 for baseball to return. For those counting, that's 158 days - otherwise known as 3,792 hours, 227,520 minutes or 13,651,200 seconds. OK, I think you get the point. While you patiently wait for the first pitch, I'll be throwin' it back to the Orioles' most memorable moments from 2014 every Thursday. Let's call it Throwback Thursday, shall we? Without further adieu, let's throw it all the way back to opening day. Nelson Cruz was making his highly anticipated Orioles debut. And in front of a sellout crowd at Camden Yards, Cruz showed Baltimore what he's all about. Relive the electrifying homer that started it all in the video below and make sure to check back every Thursday for more incredible plays from 2014.
