Which Orioles are streaking? (O's lead 3-1)

Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy is back in Milwaukee, where he spent the first five seasons of his major league career before being traded to the Twins on Nov. 6, 2009 for Carlos Gomez. He was an All-Star in 2007. Hardy batted .262 with 75 home runs and 265 RBI in 571 games for the Brewers. Hardy is currently on a season-high seven-game hitting streak, batting .464 (13-for-28) with two doubles, four RBIs and three runs scored. He has multi-hit games in five of the seven. After batting .241 (14-for-58) in 15 games in April, Hardy is hitting .330 (30-for-91) in May. He's batting .317 against right-handers, with seven doubles and 12 RBIs. He's batting .212 with two doubles and an RBI against left-handers. Go figure. The Orioles' PR staff also notes that third baseman Manny Machado has hit in eight straight games, going 11-for-34 (.324) with a double, home run, three RBIs and six runs scored. Left fielder Nelson Cruz has hit in six straight games, going 10-for-22 (.444) with three doubles, four homers, seven RBIs and nine runs scored. The Orioles will try to improve on their 6-12 record in day games. Congratulations to Chris and Jill Davis on the birth of their baby girl. Davis will rejoin the team on Tuesday. Update: Chris Tillman allowed another run in the first inning today, his 12th this season. He's permitted 10 in the second. That's a lot of runs early. #analysis Tillman threw 21 pitches in the inning, which began with a triple by Jean Segura and an RBI double by Ryan Braun. On the plus side, he stranded runners on the corners by striking out former Oriole Mark Reynolds and retiring Scooter Gennett on a fly ball. Hardy extended his hitting streak to eight games with a double in the second. Update II: Nice baserunning by the Orioles in the third inning as they took a 3-1 lead. The only hiccup came when Nelson Cruz was thrown out trying to advance to third base on Steve Pearce's one-out ground ball to short. Hardy followed with a single. Nick Markakis singled and hustled to third on Manny Machado's single into left field. Adam Jones followed with a two-run triple to right-center field, with Machado hustling around the bases in his second game back in the lineup after missing two games with a strained right groin. Jones was batting .302 with runners in scoring position coming into today's game. Jones scored on Cruz's hustle-double to center field, increasing the lead to 3-1. Machado extended his hitting streak to nine games, and Cruz extended his streak to seven. Brewers starter Kyle Lohse hasn't allowed more than three runs in any start since Sept 6, 2013. Brewers shortstop Jean Segura had two 6-5 putouts in the inning. Weird, right?
