Bud Norris threw today and it "went well," according to Orioles manager Buck Showalter. Norris remains scheduled to start Friday night at Triple-A Norfolk while recovering from bronchitis.

Chris Tillman is still listed as Thursday afternoon's starter against the Mariners at Camden Yards.

Matt Wieters had some hamstring tightness, but he's slated to catch on Thursday at extended spring training before meeting the Orioles over the weekend in Miami.

Chris Davis is in the lineup tonight despite a 1-for-20 slump in his last six games, but he could sit on Thursday. Showalter basically is choosing between Mariners left-handers Roenis Elias and J.A Happ.

The Orioles have a 12:35 p.m. starting time on Thursday, so Davis could get the day off. Also, another left-handed hitter would have to replace him based on the construction of the 25-man roster. The bench tonight includes Alejandro De Aza, Travis Snider and David Lough.

Showalter said Tyler Wilson would have made his major league debut last night if the Orioles expanded their lead to 10-4 in the eighth inning. The margin stayed at five runs and Wilson sat down after warming up.

Showalter said it isn't "mandatory" that Dylan Bundy advance to Norfolk this season. He could stay at Double-A Bowie and make the jump to the majors if he's healthy and effective.

Bundy's fastball touched 97 mph in his last start.

According to Elias, Jimmy Paredes is the first Oriole since Jim Traber to have at least 20 RBIs in his first 25 games of a season after never having a 20-RBI season in the majors. Traber totaled 22 through 25 games as a rookie in 1986.
