We'll have an update following the game.

Manny Machado moved over to short and Pedro Alvarez replaced him at third base with the Orioles losing 6-0.

Hardy flied to right field leading off the second and drew a walk against White Sox ace Chris Sale with one out in the fourth. Sale struck out the side.

Hardy is batting .244 with two home runs and eight RBIs in 22 games.

Closer Zach Britton sprained his left ankle last night while running down a bunt from Adam Eaton, and the Orioles say he's day-to-day after X-rays came back negative.

The off day on Monday is coming at an opportune time.

Ubaldo Jimenez was off today, allowing six runs and seven hits in 4 2/3 innings. He walked four batters, hit two and threw a wild pitch.

Nolan Reimold singled off reliever Jake Petricka to score Chris Davis with one out in the sixth and reduce the lead to 6-1.

The Orioles worked Sale for 112 pitches in 5 1/3 innings, but they've stranded seven runners.

Update: The Orioles had to settle for a split of their four-game series with today's 7-1 loss to the White Sox.

Brian Matusz loaded the bases with no outs in the ninth and Dioner Navarro lifted a sacrifice fly to left field.

Vance Worley tossed 3 1/3 scoreless innings.

The Orioles are 14-10 overall and 9-3 at home.
