Manny Machado starting at shortstop tonight

The Orioles are closing their brief homestand tonight and trying to avoid their first seven-game losing streak in four years.

Manny Machado is making his second major league start at shortstop tonight, with Ryan Flaherty playing third base. Gerardo Parra is in right field and Steve Pearce is playing left.

Steve Clevenger is serving as the designated hitter.

Matt Wieters will be behind the plate for the second straight night, the second time this season he's caught back-to-back days.

Kevin Gausman is 1-1 with a 2.19 ERA in eight appearances (five starts) at home this season. He's posted a quality start in all five starts and is 1-1 with a 1.85 ERA in that stretch, holding opponents to a .184 average.
