Matt Wieters: "It's time to try and put a good run together"

As the Orioles begin a stretch of games where they play teams with losing records in 14 of their next 17 games, it might be the right time for a team that has lost five of six to get back to winning. Matt Wieters said it is not that important who the opponent is right now. It's pretty much go time for the Orioles. "I don't think it matters what teams we are playing, but where we are in the standings, where we are in the season, it's time to try and put a good run together," Wieters said. "The ultimate goal is always to win the division and we have some ground to make up there." He said the O's can't just expect they will show up and beat the Astros. Houston is 2-8 in the second half and has lost 20 of its last 25 games. "Every team in the big leagues can play and win. You have to grind every game. We have to worry about tonight and then move on to the next day," Wieters said. The Orioles took two of three at Houston June 4-6. The Astros are 0-6 all time at Camden Yards, losing series in June 2005 and June 2008.
