Brian Matusz threw his bullpen session today and said his left arm felt "real good."
Matusz is still scheduled to start Monday night in Boston.
"I'm good to go," he said.
Arrieta played long toss today, but still has no idea whether he'll make another start for the Orioles.
"I aired it out and I feel great. If it's up to me, I'll pitch," he said.
"I know everybody wants to take precautions. I think some of the views are, what's another 14 innings going to do? But at the same time, I'd like to pitch at Fenway, I'd like to face Tampa again, just kind of building a foundation going into next year. I guess it just boils down to how important they feel another start or two is going to be, but if it's me, I want to be out there pitching because I feel 100 percent."
Arrieta is supposed to meet with a team physician later today.
"I guess after that, we'll make a decision," Arrieta said. "I assume it will be today or tomorrow."
Arrieta is supposed to throw a bullpen session tomorrow. Business as usual.
"I'm just planning on starting on Tuesday," he said.
Unless told otherwise.
Also, Manny Machado will take batting practice with the Orioles tomorrow and be introduced to the crowd.
